IT'S TIME FOR MUSLIMS TO DENOUNCE EXTREMISTS

Story Image

Some of the Muslim community is at odds with Britain

Friday January 11,2008

By Frederick Forsyth

THE two self-styled spokesmen of the Muslim community who laid into the Bishop of Rochester did themselves and Islam in Britain no favours.

The Ramadhan Foundation and the Islamic Society of Great Britain claimed again that anyone criticising even the most extreme proponents of the poison that beyond any doubt exists inside the Muslim “umma” in our country is criticising all Muslims. This is simply not true and one suspects these “spokesmen” secretly know it.

Bishop Nazir-Ali of Rochester made absolutely plain that he was referring to the extremists and to suggest no such maniacs exist is ludicrous. We all know they do and sensible, peace-loving Muslims who want to live in harmony with the rest of us know it also.

These spokesmen would be wise to study the relationship of the broad masses of non-Irish people inside England with the resident Irish through the 30 years when the IRA was shooting, bombing and maiming innocents right here in England. We never turned on the whole Irish community because its genuine leaders made plain they had no time for the IRA and all its violent works.

The leaders of “moderate Islam” in the UK have simply lost control of their own ultra-extreme faction

The IRA killed and were themselves killed: they were tracked, ambushed and arrested. They were denounced from Parliament and pulpit. But the true Irish leaders in Britain never screamed that we, the natives, had turned on all the Irish. They recognised that our denunciations only referred to the murderous fanatics – and they added their own denunciations as well.

I say this with deep regret. There is a growing belief among the secularists, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs and Jews, who despite all the fuss still make up 95 per cent of the British people, that the leaders of “moderate Islam” in the UK have simply lost control of their own ultra-extreme faction.

SEARCH COLUMNISTS for:

One suspects that this is through sheer timidity and no doubt it takes a brave man to stand openly against them. But we non-Muslims are informed of bookshops rife with hate material but never purged by the Muslims themselves; of mosques where preachers speak only of hate against the rest of us but are never cleansed; of social clubs where the young are indoctrinated and brainwashed on a diet of loathing of the non-jihad world but are never closed down.

Increasing numbers outside Islam are asking: if the elders will do nothing, is this extremism perhaps after all the true face of Islam? If not, why is nothing done?

To claim to speak for British Islam but only to rage at a Christian bishop who preaches against the evil of hatred – and hatred is an evil in all beliefs – is not the answer.

The answer can only be for those Muslims who want to be truly British and live in peace with the rest of us – and they claim they are the huge majority – to put their house in order, painful though this might be.

As for the bearers of violence and hate, they must be greeted by their fellow Muslims with three words: denounce, dissociate and expel.

THE UNPALATABLE TRUTH!

20.02.08, 9:49am

“The hate that dares to speak its name”! Muslim extremists are committed in turning the world into a single religious entity – a Muslim one. They are committed to converting the world to Islam, by word or by the sword as the Koran says. Muslims view our open secular approach and liberal tolerance to other religions as proof of weakness of our faith and heresy of our religion compared to theirs. In the final analysis, Muslims of all persuasions support each other as they are required to do and because of this commitment you will NOT find any Muslims in the UK who will condemn them openly or side with us, the majority against their extremist brothers. They may pay lip service to us and the government, but only to further their spread of Islam in the UK and the hope of turning us into an Islamic state, no matter how long it takes. Other religions are not tolerated in Islamic states and private worshipped is allowed for VIP and needed westerners. At Christmas we all saw on the news an attempted attack on innocent people, men women and children at Glasgow Airport by two Muslims who were employed here as Doctors. This hatred, this fanaticism by so called educated men is quite alien to us and our culture. We the British people have been muzzled by Nu labour laws to fear speaking out about our anger and fears as we might be prosecuted for a “Hate” crime or labelled a racist or Islam phobic by Nu Labours Looney-left aparchikes. This commentator however, has greater faith in Article 19. Of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights that defends my right to express myself without interference of the state or their political thought police. Fredrick Forsythe has given an honest appraisal albeit as unpalatable as it is to immigrants, migrants and labour supporters. We must now call a halt to all migrants coming from Muslim countries. We have enough from the EU and we as a country have done our share of accepting the economic migrants of the world. This useless government of ours that is always vociferous about more and more police powers to combat terrorism and its own long suffering people, must cut of the source and defend our realm. It has nothing to do with racism or Islam phobia it has to do with Common Sense, a great commodity produced by Great Britain until it was assassinated by Nu Labour and replaced with PC. PC doesn’t work anymore than communism, and it’s a reflection on Nu labour that its still trying to get that dead horse to run!

IT MUST BE WRITTEN

16.01.08, 8:43am

Into their contracts.Columnists such as Richard Littlejohn moan about the government and immigration but always.always state that they "hate the vile racist BNP."
Just as Mr Forsythe stated that most Muslims are law abiding.
It's a sop to them,we are forever obliged to appease them.

Us not U.S.
In other words - if we were in the position that Iran is in how would we react?

The yanks and us sadly have invaded their neigbour and are threating them. How do you think they should react?
How would we react if France was invaded and occupied by some power that wanted to destroy us a well?
Quite simple really.

The dreaming spires will become the screaming spires. And for what? Yet another Marxist failure ending in strife and civil conflict.
It failed in Russia, it failed in Cambodia, it failed in China, it failed in the Balkans, it failed in Zimbabwe and South Africa etc etc etc ................. and now the "socialists" are doing it to Britain.

Wake up!

>Do they have US invading countries on their >borders? threatening their lives? Yes.

Sorry, but this article is about Muslim extremists in the UK. Last time I checked there were no US armies outseide Bradford,Birmingham or Whitechapel etc threatening their lives. Understand? Your complete misunderstanding of a subject is becoming tiresome.
