PRINCESS Diana was branded a “whore” by her mother for dating Muslim men, her inquest heard yesterday.
The Princess’s former butler, Paul Burrell, said that Diana stopped talking to her mother after she twice rang to protest at her choice of boyfriends just before she died.
Burrell said that Diana beckoned him to listen in on one call in which her mother, Frances Shand Kydd, was berating her daughter.
“She called the Princess a whore and she said that she was messing around with effing Muslim men and was disgraceful and said some very nasty things,” he told the jury in London.
It was shortly after one of the calls that Burrell said Diana decided she no longer wanted to talk to her mother, who shredded many of the Princess’s private letters after her death.
The ex-butler, who claims Diana called him her “Rock”, initially tried to refuse to answer questions about what was said by the two women on a day of high drama. The jury hearing the inquest into the deaths of Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed also heard that the Princess was still “intensely” in love with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan.
The hearing was further told that Diana was said to have sent Burrell a letter at the height of her relationship with Dodi exclaiming: “What a secret!”
The admission that even her mother was vehemently opposed to her choice of lovers came amid claims that the Royal Family was so against Diana planning to marry Muslim Dodi Fayed that Prince Philip ordered her murder.
In an electric exchange between Burrell and Michael Mansfield QC, barrister for Dodi’s father Mohamed Al Fayed, the jury sat rapt as the lawyer teased the startling revelation from the former butler.
Mr Mansfield asked Burrell: “She (Shand Kydd) had expressed herself in extremely forceable terms about Diana’s consorts, particularly if they were Muslim, hadn’t she?” Burrell agreed that was correct.
“Was one a phone call you overheard and the other was in your presence or what?” asked Mr Mansfield. “They were both phone calls,” said Burrell.
Mr Mansfield then asked: “How is it you know about them?” “Because I sat and listened with the Princess’s ear on one side and mine on the other. It was shared, an old-style phone,” he replied.
“What view was she expressing about the possibility of a Muslim partner for Diana?” Burrell was asked. He replied: “She wasn’t very happy.”
Displaying his irritation with Burrell’s evasiveness, Mr Mansfield stressed: “I want to spell it out, please, because it’s being suggested that, in fact, everything would have been fine as far as the family were concerned about Diana marrying Hasnat Khan. What did Shand Kydd say, please?”
Burrell replied: “Well, I don’t, respectfully don’t think that’s very kind to a lady who is no longer here.”
Mr Mansfield countered: “If you would be very kind and just indicate – you realise this is an important issue for this jury – the extent to which the relationship with Dodi Fayed and particularly obviously his father, how it may have been viewed. Do you follow?” “I do,” said Burrell.
Mr Mansfield, pressing again, asked: “What was it that she said, because she may have said it to other people in the Royal Family. You mentioned her when you went and saw the Queen, didn’t you?” “Yes”.
At this point the coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker, warned Burrell: “This is relevant,” prompting the former servant to drop his bombshell. To a hushed courtroom, he said: “Well, she called the Princess a whore and she said that she was messing around with effing Muslim men and she was disgraceful and said some very nasty things.” Mr Mansfield: “It was as a result of at least one of those calls that the Princess decided she really didn’t want to talk to her mother again?”
“Yes,” replied Burrell, before adding that the conversations between Diana and her mother took place before her relationship with Dodi flourished.
When pressed on Diana’s fears for her life, Burrell said it was impossible that Prince Philip would have wanted to have her murdered.
He told the jury: “Knowing the members of the Royal Family so well, I think that’s impossible.” He added: “The Princess always had a great fondness for Prince Charles. Prince Charles was not capable of murdering the Princess.”
But Burrell refused to discuss the meaning of the last letter Diana wrote to him, when she was heavily involved with Dodi and referred to a secret.
He included the letter in a book about the Princess but yesterday coyly refused to be drawn on its meaning.
Eventually he claimed that, although he knew many of Diana’s secrets, he was not sure which one this was and then admitted: “I cannot remember what that particular secret was.”

What a nasty nasty mother she is. Who needs enemies when you've got a mother like her?
HILLARY CLINTON as candidate for "best mother in the world"??~ to quote the tennis-player: YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS !!!
What did those bible verses have to do with anything?
Copy, paste, read and digest what it says here:

and don't you dare EVER compare that corrupt stooge of the Power Elite to England's Queen of Hearts !
"SHE WAS THE BEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD"
I WAS QUOTING ONE OF HER SONS !!!
DIANA was inspired and guided by He who inspired the Psalms (many of them written by an Egyptian pharaoh, by the way) to take her light, her love to many, many more than her own children. This she faithfully did.
And so much more. She single-handedly took the stigma out of AIDS by sitting on the beds and stroking (refusing the proffered gloves) and cuddling men riddled with the disease. That was just one of her achievements.
What, by contrast, has Hillary Clinton done for anybody but herself? We heard about President Bill Clinton's adultery because the vested interests who did not want their corrupt health scams to change decreed that ~ and I can assure you, Rebunk2002 ~ you will be hearing about President Hillary Clinton's extra-marital affairs (with the same gender, by the way) should she threaten to change the status quo.
DIANA was not free to make the kinds of choices other young mums get to make: sending her boys off to a boarding school, for instance, was not her choice.
"abusing the little children" ~ that phrase and the personage of Princess Diana are mutally exclusive – they cannot exist in the same solar system, let alone on the same website ~ but maybe you like to try googling the words "Arizona Wilder" and "Balmoral".

Diana was not an angel or a saint . and yes like all of us she too had her faults.
i have never claimed Diana to be blameless .
i just spoke the truth . there was not two people in Diana's marriage, there was three from day one.
as for her lovers have you never heard the saying?
two can play at that game.
after all Camilla Parker bowls was a married woman.
so Charles too had his married lover.
