SHOWBIZ legend Bruce Forsyth celebrated his 80th birthday in some style today - with a dancing girl on each arm.

The Strictly Come Dancing host, who has been entertaining the nation for over 60 years, arrived at London's Dorchester Hotel in the company of Miss England Georgia Horsley and Miss Puerto Rico Jennifer Guevara.

"What a way to start a birthday!" the much-loved presenter said as he posed with the pair, who were resplendent in feathers and silver sequins.

YOUNG LOVE: Brucie says his wife keeps him alive

The entertainer is throwing a party at the hotel for 280 of his closest friends, including Dame Shirley Bassey and his Strictly co-host Tess Daly.

Brucie's tips to for staying young as he reaches another landmark?

"I've got a very, very young wife. We won't talk about the age gap, that will make me feel tired. But she does keep me young.

The current Mrs Forsyth is Puero Rican-born Wilnelia, a former Miss World, 32 years his junior.

Wilnelia has bought her husband a This Is Your Life-style book documenting his life in photographs all the way back to childhood.

I thought Bruce Forsyth looked bloomin' good for 80! I did though, think the BBC's 'This is your Life ' style tribute show was a bit 'corny. I watched about ten minutes of it and thought I saw Birthday Boy himself cringe at the cheesiness of it a few times.
