Sarah Jessica Parker to make West End debut
SARAH Jessica Parker, 42, is to play an Italian air hostess in the Broadway staging of London West End comedy hit Boeing Boeing.
“Everything I’ve done since Sex And The City ended on TV has been completely different,” says the actress.
She will tread the boards of New York’s Longacre Theatre from April in the farce about three flight attendants who are dating the same man.
Meanwhile, Parker returns to the role of Carrie Bradshaw in the film version of Sex And The City this summer but insists: “I can’t reveal anything about that. I’m not allowed.”
Despite her career, family is most important to the star and performing in a theatre within walking distance of her Manhattan home will allow her to spend more time with husband Matthew Broderick and five-year-old son, James Wilkie.
