HAVE YOUR SAYDO YOU AGREE WITH THE HEATHROW ACTIVISTS?Wednesday February 27,2008 A ROOFTOP protest against the expansion of Heathrow airport has finally ended after almost three hours. In a massive breach of Parliament security six activists unfurled two huge banners, one saying No Third Runway, and the other, in a reference to airport operator BAA, read BAA Headquarters, as they stood on the top of the building.

IF WE DON'T BULLDOZE THOSE HOMES... IMMIGRANTS WILL HAVE THEIR FLIGHTS DELAYED.

That wouldn't be fair.

BUGGER THE ENVIRONMENT!
02.03.08, 11:17am
What is more important about this proposed third runway is the fact that three villages and 700 homes are to be bulldozed resulting in the forced displacement of 4,000 British citizens.
These are our people in our Green and Pleasant Land who are going to be forced out of their homes like people were in the old Soviet Union and in Nazi Germany.
I don't give a toss about the polar bears or whales. We as a nation can do no more good or bad as far as the global warming myth is concerned but we can act to prevent a mass act of inhumanity to the villagers of Harlington, Sipson and Harmondsworth.
Remember, it could be be you and your community next time.

STRANGE

Isn't it strange that the Express can barely hide its glee about these protestors? I'm pretty sure they weren't as sympathetic about the environmental protesters campaigning against Twyford Down in the mid 90s. But of course, it was the tories in charge then wasn't it?

HEATHROW

Strange how ten activist's get all that media coverage, and the thousands of people who demonstrated regarding the referendum on the EU wasn't even on the news. Amazing, it was not reported by this paper either, and if it was I didn't see it and I'm on here every day.

I AM NOT CONVINCED ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING

I am not convinced about global warming or if the ice age is on its way back.
JANUARY 2008 Greenland Coldest in Last Decade
Residents insist Greenland's freezing temperatures don't mean global warming has been called off.
On Disko Bay in western Greenland, where a number of prominent world leaders have visited in recent years to get a first-hand impression of climate change, temperatures have dropped so drastically that the water has frozen over for the first time in a decade. 'The ice is up to 50cm thick,' said Henrik Matthiesen,
As for the protesters they proved that terrorists could penetrate the houses of parliament and the airports so that should make us feel safe, I don’t think..

THE WHOLE CLIMATE CHANGE ARGUMENT IS INSANE
29.02.08, 11:58am
What is the point in protesting like this. It will not be succcessful and the terminal will be built and there will be more flights and even worse climate change. I am tired of all the hypocrisy. Why can'y politicians just be honest. David Cameron has said he wants the Conservatives to fight climate change. HE says it is at the heart of his agenda. Yet in Canterbury the conservsative council leader John Gilbey has publicly renounced the existance of climate change and says that his own party policy on climate change is nonsense. Labour gave permission for the terminal in the first palce so they are no better. The Conservatives claim to be fighting climate change but the reality of their action on the ground, evidenced by councillor Gilbey in Cantebrury denying Climate Change exists, shows what you really get under the Conservatives and Labour. When will our politicians come clean and actually do something to stop this?
