And actress Samia Smith has revealed that filming the harrowing storyline was really difficult for her.

She said: "There is no two ways about it, it's just awful, absolutely hearbreaking.

"As an actress it was obviously a great storyline but I was completely shocked," said the 25-year-old.

The pretty blonde told the Daily Express's Saturday Magazine that the emotions you see on screen are not faked.

She said: "I cried and needed to get myself back together. The reaction you see on screen is very real."
