GORDON Brown was today given six months to get a grip or get out following Labour's local election meltdown.

Furious backbenchers rounded on the Prime Minister over the party's trouncing in town hall polls.

It was Labour's worst local elections since records began four decades ago and its lowest national share of the vote since the end of the First World War.

Tory candidate Boris Johnson's appointment as London Mayor in place of Labour's Ken Livingstone was the final blow in a terrible day for the part.

With the benefit of hindsight, the myth of him being a brilliant economist and superp chancellor is now on the scrapheap. In reality the "false boom" was down to the availabilty of credit, booming house prices and cheap Chinese goods. Nothing to do with his stewardship of the economy. During that time we were taxed to the hilt, and now he has nothing to show for it. He was an abysmal chancellor, and now he is an even worse PM.

And this Scottish Buffoon has the brass neck nerve to call Mr Cameron "A good salesman" I'd rather have a good salesman anyday, especially one who can deliver the goods, unlike Brown and his Party of underhanded cheats, liars and ripoff merchants whos only ambition is to overtax an already overburdened UK public. Get out Nu-Liarbour, and let a party win who can treat us, the voting public with respect.
