She has been accused of taking a club-goer’s £5,000 mink coat – after being photographed strolling out of a nightclub in it.

Student Masha Markova, 22, lost the fur at Manhattan nightclub 10ak where she had seen Lohan partying. She was stunned when she later opened a magazine – and saw a picture of Lohan in the coat leaving the club that night (pictured).

Markova’s lawyers threatened Lohan with litigation, then the coat arrived at Markova’s apartment two days later, reportedly reeking of cigarettes and booze with a slight tear in the lining.

“I don’t see how it could have been an accident,” says Markova. Her lawyer wants Lohan to pay compensation for the alleged “unauthorised three-week rental”. Lohan’s spokeswoman didn’t return calls.

Still, don’t Lindsay and Masha realise that wearing fur is a faux pas nowadays?
