Thursday May 22,2008

IN TONIGHT'S final episode of this fast-moving thriller former investigative journalist Max Raban (James Nesbitt) delves deeper into the murky world of the small policy group Defence Concern and discovers a US company and investor in the arms industry, the Validus Group, is pulling the strings.

After unearthing a conspiracy which has resulted in the murders of two Iranian cousins and Raban’s estranged wife, he is hell-bent on finding out who is responsible for ordering the secret assassinations.

On the run after being framed for his wife’s death, Raban finds an unlikely ally in Alice Ross (Catherine McCormack) a policy adviser with Defence Concern who fears her boss is being manipulated by Donald Hagan (Alan Dale), chairman of the Validus Group, and could be planning a disaster to create a greater appetite for defence spending and to line their own pockets.

As Raban and Ross struggle to expose the truth it appears Raban is a marked man and that he has been double-crossed. But by whom?
