ULRIKA JONSSON'S NOVEL ESCAPE

Story Image

Friday May 23,2008

SHOULD heavily pregnant Ulrika Jonsson be quaking in her boots?

Her agent of 17 years, Melanie Cantor, is leaving the world of management behind her to write a novel about her
celebrity experiences.

“They say ‘write about what you know’, so I’m doing that,” reveals Melanie. “The main character is a PR.”

However, Melanie recognises that readers of her forthcoming tome, with its working title Fabulously Famous, will
be keen to try to spot any references to her most famous client.

The Swedish-born sometime TV presenter, 40, (pictured) is better known nowadays for her chaotic love life than her career – she is nicknamed “Four By Four”due to her having four children by four different fathers.

“I know everybody will be looking for Ulrika but there are no Swedish characters in the book,” promises Melanie, whose other clients have included Michael Aspel, Adam Antand Julia Carling.

“Ulrika is aware I’m writing it and is behind me. Lots of people I know say that they hope they are in it.

“I haven’t stopped looking after Ulrika quite yet, though once she’s had her baby that will probably be the final hurrah.”

Ulrika is expecting a child shortly by her third husband Brian Monet, a US advertising executive.

She has a son, Cameron, by first husband John Turnbull; a daughter, Bo, by her former lover Markus Kempen and
another daughter, Martha, by her second husband Lance Gerrard-Wright.
