The theme is spring, and Hugh offers a celebration of the best of its fruits, vegetables and meat, welcoming us into his kitchen garden to show us the products of his labours, including asparagus and artichokes.

Hugh also challenges five families from Bristol to transform a piece of derelict urban land into their very own allotment and over the next four weeks we follow their progress.
