MASS migration has sparked community tensions and piled pressure on services, council leaders will tell MPs today.

Migrants have also impacted on crime rates and fire services are under strain because of houses crammed with new arrivals who lack safety awareness.

The warnings came from the Local Government Association. But in a separate speech, immigration minister Liam Byrne will insist migration has brought economic and cultural benefits and Labour can win over the public perception.

The Daily Express told yesterday how migration has added 2.3million people to the population in 15 years, with the majority coming from the third world.

It also follows a devastating report by the LGA last year that revealed, for the first time, the true scale of pressure Labour’s open-door policies have put on our towns and cities.

I believe that mass immigration has & is taking its toll, though not on the finances, because Britain is absolutly loaded, yes it's true LOADED! the only reason the doors are being opened is 1. because of the amount of British people leaving & the numbers need to be there, & 2. because its cheap labour, plus most of the immigrants who come to this country (no offence intended) know nothing about quality, so they are happy to buy the 4th rate crap at 1st rate prices, that we are sold in British shops. I'ts the attitudes & culture of the British people that we once knew that's being wrecked / destroyed, mix everyone up into a pot, confuse the hell out of them, force them to accept each other even though they are frightened to death of each other & dont understand a word thats said, & hopefully sometime soon, they will all be singing from the same song sheet, just think of the money & control we will have, mass slave labour, one dictatorship. what services does this country offer anyway?? the attitudes I receive from the people at the face from any services that I engage with in this country makes me want to throw up or cry, the schools are crap, the nurseries stink, the hospitals are dirty, housing is poor, public transport is something else, the supermarkets are theives, junk food shops have rats in buns, & when you get on a bus /train you dont know wheather you will come off it alive, this is the only country where I can get a pizza to my house faster than the emergency services. never mind immigration.

IMMIGRANTS RUINING BRITAIN?

I highly doubt it. Much of the crime committed in the UK is by home-grown British teens/adults, so why claim mass immigrations is wrecking the country? If anything, it is the lack of morals and values in the country that has ruined it, not people entering the country. Many of those coming to Britain are moving from their homes. They may not want to leave, but due to civil war and difficulty they have to. So they come here to work (many of them anyway) and start a new life. Fair enough, there are people who come to Britain and claim benefits and never work a day they're here, but the same can be said for many UK citizens who screw the system and claim all sorts. Immigrants are broadening the culture in the country, not wrecking it, in my view.

The whole fiasco of immigration is killing the country. I'm not saying no to ever letting people in the country again, i'm saying no to immigration for the time being.
We need to deal with, and sort out the massive strain on our public services and schools. We need to sort out all the problems that we have in this country now before we can realistically help to sort out anyone else's problems.
We need to close the borders off now for the time being and get ourselves put right, then we can start intergrating other people in a controlled and structured manner instead of just leaving the gates open and closing our eyes.

Sort of leaves the door open for any muslim to scream prejudice if they get knocked back in a job interview. These people don't need any encouragement to bleed this country dry as they are experts in this sort of thing.They must find it highly amusing to watch this country almost groveling in its efforts to appease and not offend anything Islamic. To the point of releasing terrorist scum back onto our streets on the same day that four of our soldiers are murdered by Islamic fanatics in Afganistan.ITS A BLOODY INSULT.

TROUBLESOME JOB SEEKERS

Employers often fall into traps once they have interviewed a job seeker. The employer's mistake in the musim lady's case was to let her get through the door in the first place. While the muslim lady thinks she has been clever to get her compensation in this case, I suspect she will have difficulties getting interviews in the future. Her name is fairly memorable and I am not sure I would invite her to come an interview with me if I saw her name on a CV. "Troublemaker" is a very difficult reputation to remove.
