i agree with the comments regarding greedy petrol companies and even greedier governments imposing outragous taxes in the name of global warming !! FACT ..the worlds climate has actually reduced for the last 12 years on the trot ..!! go figure
anyway i had a very good experience from a mobile phone company and wish to share ..i actually got a brand new iPHONE for free !!! yes free and it is a fantastic piece of kit ..i got it from www.mobilesuperdeals.co.uk/ about two weeks ago ...they had a limited amount to give away so its worth checking them out and you might be lucky ..i also saved a massive £175 a year on my mobile bill using the site ..so there are still some good companys around me thinks .

ENVIRONMENTAL RIPOFF
26.06.08, 4:49pm
It is with great relief that I hear that the majority of people are at last beginning to realise that the UK government’s climate change propaganda that we have all been subjected to has not been entirely true. ‘More than 2,500 scientists’ who have ostensibly blamed anthropic activity alone for global warming are far outnumbered by those scientists who disagree. Furthermore, the voters are to say the least, deeply suspicious of carbon trading schemes and government proposals to force people to pay exorbitant environmental taxes to support the rich property owners who are the only people who can afford green measures to save money on electricity and gas in their homes. It is significant that these very rich people, living in rural properties bought for millions, invariably find that in order to implement their solar panels, wind powered generators, ground source heating, private water supplies and insulation, it is essential to own and run a large 4x4 and trailer, and that the cost of all these things are expected to be assisted by grants paid for by punitive taxation of the not so well off.
The whole green ethic is brought into disrepute by the words and actions of not only this government but also the leaders of the other two major political parties, all vying with each other to increase ‘green’ taxes in order to pacify the green meanies who rejoice in the discomfiture of working class rural dwellers and businesses.
The government’s propaganda about impossible schemes such as ‘carbon-neutral housing’ and ‘carbon offsetting’ cuts no ice with the voters who, when investigating what this means, find that this is just another fraudulent scam, run by just another government-approved fatcat company with the aim of parting the voters from their hard-earned cash!.

LETS DEAL WITH THEM WITH THE HELP OF THE DAILY EXPRESS.
23.06.08, 7:03am
I say we should choose one petrol company and everyone who agrees should buy from that one fuel company. I get my fuel from Shell as they seem more consistant in pricing regardless of where the fourcourts are based. I've found that when buying fuel from them they tend to be a penny cheaper than the national average and all the supermarkets i've seen. In fact i've seen the supermarket forecourts prices rocket recently and they seem to structure their prices from one area to another. This to me is price fixing and when you have a town with few forecourts they tend to hold the consumer to ransom.
Lets get together and boycot certain fuel station companies and force them to reduce prices. If we do this they'll have no choice but to reduce the cost of the fuels they provide as they watch their profits nose dive. It will make good business sense for them to make some profit than none at all and other petrol companies will follow suit as they would be afraid of the backlash being aimed at them.
Come on people and the Daily Express, Lets gang up on them and turn the tables.

14.06.08, 7:27pm
When i was made redundant in 2006 after 9yrs in the logistics business I could have sat on my backside and felt sorry for myself, instead i gathered my experience and decided to set out on my own providing a same day delivery service and began the process of introducing my company. since last december my cost have increased by .40ppl!! how as a small business do I pass this on to my new customers? When is this government going to see that they are destroying small businesses like mine who WANT to work and provide for thier fanilies.

SOMETHINGS NOT QUITE RIGHT

Saudi Arabia and OPEC are saying that there is no reason why oil prices are so high, they are saying that the world is awash with oil, so who is pushing up the price??? .. speculators ??? .... No doubt the world leaders and Opec's meeting at the end of this month will find out.
Whoever is responsible should be shot ..... literally... they are pushing the world into an unjustified recession.

SNOUTS IN THE TROUGH
12.06.08, 8:48pm
Not only are the petrol firms screwing the public, as we all know the Government are as bad if not more so and now we have the tanker drivers joining the queue at the trough.
A windfall tax on the petrol companies, a change of government and a few redundancy notices to the drivers, who incidently are only earning £32k a year but want to increase this to something like £36k BASIC, got to be having a laugh.
