The programme follows Karen's stay with the fearsome Waorani tribe in the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle.

To her credit, nothing seems to faze her, even when she is washing in a river infested with piranha fish or hunting wild boar.

With the tribe’s help, 46-year-old Karen hopes to find what is missing from her life and rediscover her identity.
