TODAY The Daily Express reports that police are stepping up the war on drivers.

Officers are being set ticket targets by police chiefs.

One force told its traffic squads to issue extra tickets to motorists for speeding, using mobile phones or not wearing seat belts.

Another ordered officers to catch five speeding drivers a month and arrest 24 people a year for motoring offences in a bid to meet quotas.

IS IT FAIR TO CRACKDOWN ON MOTORISTS?

However, consider the severity, 'appropriate' sentence handed down by the presiding authority..... The way the guilty person is then treated during incarceration !
One further consideration:- ....It is now suggested, The formation of a special force for Rape inquiries ! A question of ....decorum,...ect, ect, time of day, location,....."context" attitudes,.....full C.V. of so say, 'offended party ! '.......... No financial payout by insurance company possibly, insurance should be a factor brought into the equation.

Debateable. What of police cars, motor cycles, racing through 30mph zones in 'frantic' persuit of a young tearaway in a stolen motor ?
This crime be to be persued by insurance claims ! Then you may well ask:- What then of burgulary ?......... Also an insurance concern.
Priority, priority, priority.... Make the countries citizens / steets safe, keep them safe. Persue the street anti socializm, all aspects cleary visable. Perpetrators of 'more serious crime' would surely be netted ! These would then be seriously caned, in 'special institutions' nissen huts , canvas shelters, in razor wire compounds, patroled maybe by victims, or families of, using ferocious guard dogs.
All in all considered, just how many perpetrors 'are' caught by police in these two types of incidences ? Expensive waste of time,
the financial loosers here will be reimbursed via the insurance claim ! Expensive waste of taxpayers money, via smart alec, unprincipled legal professional's. However consider the severity appropriacysentence
