DCI Jack Meadows (Simon Rouse) takes time out from his duties to have a game of cards with friends Keith and Geoff and DC Mickey Webb.

But an evening that should have been an enjoyable affair ends in tragedy.

 After collecting his dad from Jack’s flat, Keith’s son Keiran is knocked down by a hit-and-run driver.

Jack is shocked to discover his friends have been keeping secrets from him when investigations link the hit-and-run suspect to Keith.
