Twiggy reunited with Sixties frock
AFTER years of searching, Twiggy has been reunited with one of the frocks from her Sixties own-label collection.
The 59-year-old model, who has been presenting TV clothes-swapping series Twiggy’s Frock Exchange on BBC2, was overwhelmed after being presented with the 40-year-old psychedelic yellow mini-dress as a thank-you by the show’s executive producer Daisy Goodwin.
“After I heard Twiggy say she had never managed to find one of these dresses it became my mission,” explains Daisy.
“I eventually tracked one down to a secondhand clothes store in Nebraska.
“It took for ever to arrive and I was terrified it wouldn’t be the real deal but it was perfect.
“Twiggy was totally thrilled.”
