FIREFIGHTERS TACKLE SCHOOL BLAZE

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to a severe fire at the site of Delius School, on Killinghall Road, in Bradford.

The blaze also involved more than a dozen temporary buildings, a spokeswoman said.

Crews from across the city, including an aerial platform, attended the incident.

The were no reports of casualties.

A spokesman confirmed the fire had been brought under control.

He said he believed the the school was currently under construction but had been badly damaged in the blaze.

West Yorkshire Police said traffic restrictions in the area have now been lifted.
