Beatles' manager slams Yoko Ono

THE Beatles’ former road manager Tony Bramwell is unapologetic about revealing the extent of the disruption he believed Yoko Ono caused to the legendary band.

Bramwell, one of the last surviving members of the Beatles’ inner circle, raised eyebrows with his ferocious attack on Yoko in his recent memoirs, Magical Mystery Tours.

He claimed that her initial interest in John Lennon was based on his vast fortune, blamed her for the group’s break-up and accused her of interfering with recording sessions.

“I have no axe to grind against Yoko," he now insists. “I wanted to let Beatles fans know the real stories about what it was like when Yoko came into John’s life and the problems she caused for the Beatles, their fans, and the staff at Apple."
