But the shares tumbled 12bp to 118p on the gloomy outlook.

It sold half its retail business for £1.1billion to U.S. electronics chain Best Buy earlier this year, a joint venture Dunstone said had so far outperformed expectations.

Under the tie-up it plans to open 100 out-of-town superstores to add to its 2,400 high-street stores.
