'BROWN THE BALIFF' FAILS TO HELP 45, 000 HOMEOWNERS

CRUSADE: Express yesterday

Tuesday November 25,2008

THERE was widespread backing last night for the Daily Express crusade to help home owners faced with repossession.

Forcing lenders to wait three months before they move to repossess a property was one measure announced by Chancellor Alistair Darling in yesterday’s Pre-Budget Report.

But property experts and politicians immediately warned the delay would be nowhere near long enough to help the owners of the more than 45,000 homes expected to be repossessed by the end of the year.

Our crusade aims to force the Government to introduce measures to help protect responsible homeowners.

We want them to be given a year’s grace before any action is taken.Dubbing the Prime Minister “Brown the bailiff”, Tory shadow housing minister Grant Shapps said most repossessions already took longer than six months.

“A three-month hiatus will help virtually none of the thousands left helpless by the Prime Minister’s irresponsibility and failure to regulate the banking industry.”

BROWN THE BAILIFF

01.12.08, 9:00pm

The answer is get rid of Brown he's useless - he can't do his sums - this happened with Wilson another numpty - Brown has made more of a **** up this time - He's at the helm he should go -Isn't there anyway this dreadful man and his illiterate government can be forced out - Nobody wants them - they can't talk sense - just babble -even if they stopped poking their noses into this country's affairs and just sat staring into oblivion - I am sure we would all be better off. It's embarrassing when the leaders of foreign countries appear on television looking smart and intelligent Our load of scruffs look as though they have bought a bargain at a charity shop and left their brain behind.
All the money Brown has stolen from innocent people who have bought their homes within the last two years ought to be fully compensated.

If Brown had any sense at all he would pass a law to make it considerably more difficult to evict people & throw them out on to the street.
But there is no sense or compassion in our present Prime Minister.
I am not prejudiced on this as my mortgage is paid off.
