Snow White and Cinders dumped by PC parents
POLITICALLY correct parents aren't telling traditional fairy tales at bedtime because they're too offensive and scary.
A survey of 3,000 parents found one in four mums has ditched Cinderella because she is forced to do housework.
A third won't read Little Red Riding Hood as she walks alone through woods and her grandma is eaten by a wolf.
And one in 10 are very worried about the feelings of Happy, Grumpy and co.
They think Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs should be renamed Snow White and the Seven Vertically Challenged People because "the dwarf reference is not PC".
The survey of 3,000 parents by TheBabyWebsite.com revealed 66 per cent believe traditional fairy tales have stronger morality messages than many modern children's stories.
But they still prefer reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar or The Gruffalo to their children.
