The nerds` guide to flirting
THE world's first university course in flirting began yesterday to help student "techies, geeks and nerds" find true love.
Desperate IT students will learn how to attract the opposite sex by sending saucy emails, writing flirtatious texts and interacting at parties.
The two-week course includes lessons on "cool" walking and how to hold a captivating conversation with a potential mate - but it also has a module on rejection.
More than 440 IT engineering students at Potsdam University in Berlin have signed up to the free course.
Hans-Joachim Allgaier, a spokesman for the university, said: "We want to prepare our students with the social skills needed to succeed both in their private life and work life."
