McG enjoyed Bale rant remix

TERMINATOR SALVATION director MCG can see the funny side of CHRISTIAN BALE's foul-mouthed on-set tirade - insisting he loves the online remixed version of the now notorious rant.

Last week (begs02Feb08), a four-minute audio of Bale's outburst, in which he used the F-word 35 times, was leaked online.

The actor is heard angrily reprimanding and hurling abuse and expletives at director of photography Shane Hurlbut, who distracted him during a scene shot last July (08), by walking onset twice.

Bale has since admitted that his behaviour was "inexcusable", and he regretted acting "like a punk".

But his boss on the movie, filmmaker McG, has defended the star's actions, and can even see the funny side - confessing he has enjoyed the musical remix of the rant released online by internet tricksters.

He says, "That remix is pretty hot."

And McG has assured film fans there is no bad blood between Bale and Hurlbut: "The film set is a passionate place, and it happens. Christian has taken responsibility for the way he acted. It's a matter of fact that he and Shane are buddies. We finished the movie together. We did some additional photography about a month ago."
