SHE has spent years laughing, deflecting and eventually fighting off comparisons to Paris Hilton but Ivanka Trump says she now finds the situation "hilarious".

The daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump may be a blonde, leggy, hotel heiress but that is where the similarities end, she insists.

Despite branding Paris a "party girl" with a "sense of entitlement" in 2007, the 27-year-old business graduate believes the tiny dog-toting heirhead is harmless but dislikes being likened to her.

"People love to say that - it's hilarious, " brainy Ivanka, who works as vice-president of development and acquisitions for Trump Organisation, tells Tatler magazine.

"It's no more obvious a comparison than between myself and George Bush. Paris is fine - she is what she is - but her lifestyle wouldn't appeal to me.

"I don't know her well but I'd never want to knock her."
