Ifans to play a wizard in Harry Potter film
RHYS IFANS is preparing to cast a little magic in the upcoming HARRY POTTER movie after landing a role as a wizard in the film franchise's next instalment.
Welsh star Ifans will play kooky wizard Xenophilius Lovegood in the forthcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
Ifans joins the ranks of British actors - including Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Emma Thompson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ralph Fiennes - who have all starred in the big screen adaptations of J.K. Rowling's hit children's books.
