VIDEO: Obama action figures go on sale
FORGET Barbie and Ken, the new must-have action figures are of the US President and the First Lady.
The dolls, made by Emil Vicale, president of HeroBuilders.com have already generated orders from all over the world.
Mr Vicale said of Barack Obama: "He went from no one knowing who he was to being the President and took the world stage by storm and that's an action figure right there."
Mr Obama’s action figure wears a classic dark suit while his wife's doll is available in two different outfits - reflecting her emerging status as a fashion icon.
Mr Vicale said of Mrs Obama's doll: "I think it would be awesome just to have a full line of her and just follow her over the next four or eight years, whatever it may be and see how it goes."
This is the latest in a long line of Obama merchandise including t-shirts, badges and even ice-cream.
