SUSAN TELLS COWELL: GIVE ME THIS CHANCE TO EARN MILLIONS

Friends and family have convinced the Scot to lay down the law after the scale of her global fame sank in.

She was last night said to be on the verge of ripping up her contract with ITV.

“The chance of earning serious money doesn’t come often and it’s in danger of slipping away,” said one friend. Susan, 47, of Blackburn, West Lothian, fears she is missing out on millions by not cashing in now. She has to wait almost five weeks before her next appearance on the show.

Susan’s brother John, 59, said: “She is being stifled. The normal rules don’t apply any more – and I think Simon Cowell knows it, too.”

But a friend of Susan’s connected to the show said last night: “She wishes her family would stop speaking on her behalf.”
