HAVRET PULLS OFF SHOCK WINSunday July 15,2007 France's Gregory Havret, ranked 320th in the world, pulled off one of the golfing shocks of the season when he beat American star Phil Mickelson, the world number three, in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond. Mickelson led by one with one to play, but bogeyed the last and did the same in the play-off.
Havret qualifies for this week's Open as a result of his second European Tour victory. |
