Five returns to the centre with this new documentary series to follow the lives of these cute and cuddly animals.

However, despite the picture of contentment, many of these primates have been abused and neglected and over the next few weeks we will follow their dramatic rescue and rehabilitation.

The work of Dr Alison Cronin and her dedicated team is also documented here, as they attempt to clamp down on the illegal smuggling of monkeys from the wild.

Tonight sees the staff of the chimp nursery preparing for a new arrival called Bryan, while the time has come for baby orangutan Dinda to move into the orang nursery full-time.
