Dancing on Ice professional skater Colin Grafton has given his verdict on new host Stephen Mulhern. The presenter made his debut alongside Holly Willoughby on the first live show after the pair previously used to host children's television together.

Now Colin, 32, has shared what his first encounter was like with Stephen, 46, and what he thinks of his chemistry with Holly. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Colin explained: "He is so lovely, the first encounter I had with him was when he came in last week for the first show.

"We had a beautiful pro number to close our week one and we had to head into rehearsals early in the morning and this was his first day hosting.

"He came in early just to sit and watch the pros perform and took the time to come down to the ice and shake all of our hands and introduce himself."

The US native went on to explain that he was touched by Stephen's gesture of coming to watch the professionals perform. He continued: "He didn't have to do that but he did and he was absolutely so lovely and I think he's just such a nice guy.

Dancing on Ice viewers were all saying the same thing as the new series kicked off two weeks ago.

The first episode saw the first six celebrities take to the ice for the first time as Holly returned to the show.
