viewers are on the edge of their seats after spotting a hint that Tom King (played by James Chase) might harm Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) following some scary moments. Belle is stuck in a frightening and awful marriage with Tom, who has been really mean to her for a long time, telling her she's the problem when she's not.

In an episode that aired earlier this week, Tom showed he wants to control where Belle is all the time by taking her phone to see where she goes using his own phone. At the end of the show, he made a creepy call to Belle about her day, then checked his phone and saw she was at a hotel in Leeds.

Belle hasn't had much luck with love before, having been with people like Lachlan White (Tom Atkinson) and Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln), and now it seems things are getting even worse as Tom tricks her. Fans are worried that Belle is going through the same bad stuff again because of her past relationships.

They're even more scared now because they think they've seen a sign that means Belle might be in big trouble. One viewer said: "Tom is a psychopath. I think Belle will be in grave danger with this k***head. #Emmerdale," while another commented: "That creepy killer look on Tom's face WTH #Emmerdale."

"Tom continuing to spy on Belle... #Emmerdale," a third pointed out while another asked: "Is Tom tracking Belle? #Emmerdale."

A fifth worried fan said: "Tom looking angry because Belle is in the place she said she’d be #Emmerdale."

"I really really don't want this Tom and Belle story to go on #Emmerdale," another pleaded.

On their wedding day, Tom criticised Belle for wanting to read a special letter from her mum.

He accused her of ruining their big day, by saying: "Every time I've tried to get close to you today, to enjoy our day, all you've done is bang on about that, your family and yet you can never see it.

"Sam cutting the photos short because he couldn't stop moaning that he was hungry, Nate starting a punch up and trashing the place."

The vet went on to rage: "You know what, it doesn't even matter because your family had already turned it into a junkyard with that tatty banner and that filthy boot on our table. And then we have Mandy looking like a slob.

"I thought we might have one day where it was about us, one day where you actually considered putting me first. You just let your family ride roughshod, take over and ruin over the entire thing."

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
