Emmerdale rocked by heartbreak as two couples ripped apart after betrayal

Emmerdale fans have shared their thoughts and theories after newcomer Rose (played by Christine Tremarco) was revealed to be Will Taylor's (Dean Andrews) ex-wife and Dawn Taylor's (Olivia Bromley) mum. At the end of Friday's episode, Rose came face-to-face with Will and Dawn, who told her mum exactly what she thought of her.

Will's wife, Kim Tate (Claire King) also stood by and watched and she didn't look happy that Rose had come back into her husband's life. While Will said they wouldn't have to see Rose again, Kim took a moment and warned Will that it wouldn't be the last they saw of her.

Meanwhile, fans also think an affair could be on the cards after Tom King (James Chase) stirred up emotions when he was seen arguing with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), who was visibly upset and disturbed by his obvious affection for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).

In the latest episode, Belle was visibly upset as she was left alone all day with the dog while Tom took a day off work to spend time with his friend Vinny. However, when she found them at the pub, she discovered Gabby had joined their "lads only" drinking session.

Tom then painted Belle as controlling, suggesting that she kept him on a tight leash and might "drag him home". Is Tom just trying to make his wife jealous or could an affair be on the cards?

Another couple on the rocks is Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock). The chef felt betrayed after his wife changed her plea in court and as a result, her ex-husband Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) was sent to prison.

As Rhona tried to make it up to her husband, Marlon wasn't having any of it. "I am still busy," Marlon fumed as his wife tried to make peace.

Rhona replied: "Well it won't stop you from listening. Look, I'm sorry about Vanessa, but I needed to talk to somebody because you won't about it.

"I've said all I need to on the subject," Marlon replied as Rhona asked: "How long are you going to keep this going? Because we can't go on like this."

As Rhona questioned whether their marriage was over, Marlon insisted: "I still love you, I just need you to give me time to think this through without everybody else having to know our business."

Fans seem to think more than one marriage could be ripped apart following the latest drama in the village and they took to X to share their thoughts.

"Marlon and Rhona's marriage is on a downfall !! Rhona is selfish #Emmerdale," one fan theorised as another agreed: "Woah! Marlon. You’re headed for another stroke, mate. #Emmerdale."

A third pleaded: "Rhona, just kick Marlon out #Emmerdale."

"Marlon and Rhona just do not match as a couple #emmerdale," a fourth went on as someone else stated: Things are still frosty between Marlon and Rhona... #Emmerdale."

Another asked: "Is it the end of the road for Marlon & Rhona?"
