A TV doctor has been struck off after giving free botox to a patient in return for sex at his clinic.

Dr Tijion Esho, a TV cosmetic doctor who has appeared on ITV's This Morning, BBC's Morning Live and E4's Body Fixers, has been struck off after admitting to an improper emotional relationship with a patient.

The doctor confessed to exchanging "inappropriate" sexual messages with the woman, known as Patient A, on Instagram.

Despite his claims of no physical contact, a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) panel ruled that Dr Esho did have sexual intercourse with Patient A at his Newcastle clinic in 2021 and provided her with free botox.

The panel also found that he had made inappropriate comments and physical advances towards the patient during previous consultations.

The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) has struck off Dr Esho after finding his fitness to practise was impaired due to misconduct. The decision to remove him from the medical register was made at a private hearing on Saturday, with the tribunal's detailed reasons expected to be published next week.

Dr Esho, who gained fame as a cosmetic doctor on ITV and E4, sent a series of "inappropriate" Instagram messages to Patient A, who provided sex services via OnlyFans, over several years.

In one message from September 2019, he remarked: "What you doing to me lol. Morning Glory. Bloody have me wanting the real thing. That's like every man's dream."

He continued in November 2019 with comments such as: "Why you making me bulge lol. Send more, don't be sorry lol", reports the Mirror.

And in December, he added "Lol loving the tongue" and "Ha free mls I'd need the whole booty and more".

Later, he messaged her saying: "My God having you for a night/every night is a dream but if we do it for mls I break the doctors code and I'd be a dead man x lol."

Although the tribunal acknowledged the sexual motivation behind Dr Esho's actions, they did not consider Patient A vulnerable due to her profession.

Known also as Oluwafemi Esho, the doctor was a familiar face on television, offering medical insights on ITV's morning shows and discussing cosmetic surgery. He also featured on E4's Body Fixers and appeared on BBC's Morning Live segments until summer 2022.

Dr Esho, the founder of the Esho Clinic with branches in London, Liverpool and Dubai, and a favourite among celebrities, issued a statement after the tribunal's findings. He confessed that his communication with Patient A was inappropriate, but he continued to deny having sexual relations with her.
