Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp hits back at Gary Neville comments
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League table after four wins in as many games to start the season.
But with the Champions League due to begin next week, Neville wondered whether Liverpool were capable of competing for trophies in both competitions.
He said: "The Champions League - if I was Liverpool, I would kick it into touch.
"I know that’s very hard to do but if they could go into February, March, April without it, I think they could have a real chance (of the Premier League title) if they had free weeks.

"That's what we try. We will see."
Now, Neville has, in turn, responded to Klopp and defended his comments, claiming he hopes Liverpool play their best team all the time.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “Mad world this one!
“You make a comment that @LFC are actually capable of winning a league title (but my reservations are them playing too many games sat/wed /sat) for the first time in 30 years and it’s seen as a dig!
“I actually hope they play their best team every game!!”
