“Maybe he will not be ready to play for 90 minutes at the moment, because it was the first training in the last two weeks, but probably he will be able to play for 40, 45 minutes.
“I will speak to him before deciding whether he starts. For us it’s important.”
Hazard was then spotted training with the rest of his team-mates at Cobham on Friday afternoon, boosting his chances of featuring from the off on Sunday.
Sarri’s comments suggest the 27-year-old will not play the whole match against Palace but should feature in some capacity.
