"Things are different from last season. I played a lot of games but this season it hasn't been like that. It's always difficult for a player but we'll see what happens.
"If you asked every player that's not playing if they're happy, they're going to say 'no'. Everyone wants to play.
"I can't do anything else but go back there, train and do my best. Every time I get that opportunity, I have to do well and show [Sarri] that he can count on me.
"You don't want to sit around and wait for it. You want to play straight away and that's why we all play football."

Meanwhile, Chelsea skipper Gary Cahill will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in the January transfer window.
Cahill has played just six times this term with Sarri preferring Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz in defence.
Express Sport understands the Blues will not stand in his way if the right offer comes along in the new year.
Manchester United are thought to be keen on him with Jose Mourinho in charge at Old Trafford, as are Southampton, West Ham, Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday.

Finally, Chelsea star Alvaro Morata offers "nothing" and the Blues might look to replace him in January.
That is the verdict of former Blues defender Gary Chivers, who says his old side need to bolster their attacking department.
Morata has experienced a hit-and-miss start to the season, bagging six goals in 16 appearances in all competitions.
And he’s still got his critics having so far failed to live up to the £57m fee Chelsea stumped up for him last summer.

Chelsea: Morata lacks mentality for the English league says Gray
Chivers has now offered his damning take, telling Love Sport Radio: "He's lacking a bit of confidence in his play, Morata at the moment.
"I think he scored seven out of the first eight games. He needs a couple of chances now to put away one.
"He's still nothing for me but maybe they're looking at that. Maybe they're looking at the January transfer window and waiting for that to come.
"It is something that obviously needs addressing. You've got [Olivier] Giroud, who comes on and plays well, they've been in and out the pair of them this year."
