Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done one thing Jose Mourinho could not - ambassador
FORMER Manchester United defender David May believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already achieved something that Jose Mourinho could not, playing on the front foot.
Man United: Solskjaer ‘delighted’ with 3-1 win over Huddersfield
The Norwegian made it two wins from two as United beat Huddersfield 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Paul Pogba was back to his best as he struck a brace, Nemanja Matic was also on target for the Red Devils.
Former fan favourite Solskjaer has already made an impressive impact on his return to Old Trafford, with his side scoring eights goals in total against Cardiff and the Terriers.
Ex-United defender David May believes it’s refreshing to see the side playing an attacking brand of football with freedom, something that didn’t happen under Jose Mourinho.
May was asked on MUTV how Solskjaer will be feeling after the result: “He’ll be absolutely delighted.
“He said he wasn’t nervous but I am sure he was a little nervous, coming back to manage Manchester United. He has been a fantastic servant for us.
“He has got us playing in a way that everybody wants us to see us play. It never happened under Jose or rarely did it.
“We have come in and scored eight goals, albeit against lesser teams but you can only put them away.”

After the match, the boss revealed that he is keen to try and get the best from Marcus Rashford.
"What we can do with him is use him more, because I don't think the team is used to his runs," Solskjaer told Norwegian TV2.
"If you just watch him, the amount of runs and the good runs he makes in second half when we're 2-0 up and 3-0 up and he makes runs in behind and he gets in behind the defence.
