Right now United need proven, trusted, class players. Felix is class but he’s not proven
Steve Nicol on Man Utd target Joao Felix
Nicol says Felix’s link to United is similar to when countryman Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal to join the Red Devils aged 18 back in 2003.
However, the former Liverpool defender admits United were in much better shape back then than they are now.
And Nicol says United need to be signing more proven players than Felix this summer.
“This is interesting because he’s kind of in the position that Ronaldo was in when he left to come to Manchester United,” Nicol said.
