Arsenal were involved in a 10-goal thriller on Wednesday night as an injury time goal from Liverpool striker Divock Origi levelled the score at 5-5.
The Reds went on to win the penalty shootout 5-4, but as Liverpool’s Curtis Jones smashed home the final spot-kick, Kieran Tierney made sure his team-mates didn’t leave the pitch straight away.
During the penalty shootout the Gunners were huddled at the half-way line.
And as Liverpool scored the goal that would send them into the quarter-finals, Dani Ceballos, who only moments before had seen his penalty saved, began to quickly make his way towards the tunnel, followed by Matteo Guendouzi.
However, Tierney, who had only been substituted onto the pitch in the 83rd minute, spotted the pair and called them back to make sure they thanked the travelling fans.
And the actions of the Scotland international didn’t go unnoticed by Arsenal fans.
One said: “Tierney is pure class here - he gets it already.”
Another explained: “Saw that. He’s fast becoming one of my favs.”

Arsenal: Emery says he has had 'good conversation' with Ozil
While a third said: “There's something about these newer players that have more to them.
“You see Mustafi, Xhaka, Kolasinac and they just don't seem to want it as much.
“I’d rather watch a team filled with grit and desire, especially as I'm sure they would win more.”
Tierney only joined Arsenal in the summer, after the Gunners eventually agreed a £25million fee with Scottish champions Celtic.
However, the 22-year-old left-back has been limited to only six appearances this season as he slowly regains match-fitness after undergoing surgery following a hernia injury.
