Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he is ‘delighted’ to have finally signed Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils announced the deal on Wednesday, following their raised bid on Tuesday evening.
Fernandes will sign for United after the Manchester club paid £46.6million for his signature.
There are also add-ons which could amount to £21m - which will be payable assuming Fernandes completes various incentive-based clauses in the contract.
“I'm delighted that we've agreed with Sporting,” said Solskjaer.
