Championship top scorers: Can Watkins take outright lead over Mitrovic?
Championship action continues this week but who are the league's top scorers?
Brentford forward Olle Watkins scored his 20th goal of the season in the Bees’ late 3-2 win over Middlesborough at the weekend. He now shares the lead at the top of the Championship scoring charts with Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Ahead of Brentford’s clash with Leeds this week, Watkins said: “This year I have adapted and learnt how to get those tap-in goals.
“The easy goals that are sometimes the hardest.
“I am really enjoying it this year and hopefully I can go and score some more goals.”
Watkins started his career as a winger but has turned into a prolific striker under Brentford head coach Thomas Frank.

Frank said of the 24-year-old: "He's definitely a number nine now, because he's so flexible.
"Cristiano Ronaldo did quite well in the beginning as a winger. Hopefully Ollie can do something similar."
Mitrovic also bagged his 20th goal of the season at the weekend as Fulham beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0.
Following the game, the Serbian wrote on Instagram: “Tough game but great performance from the whole squad!
“Another 3 points, clean sheet and goal... thanks for your support, we go again on Wednesday #fulhamfc @fulhamfc.”
Watkins and Mitrovic are four goals clear of Nottingham Forest striker Lewis Grabban.
Jarrod Bowen also has 14 goals but the forward left Hull to join West Ham in the January transfer window.
