Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is considering a move to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan. The Ivorian has played for Milan since 2017 having joined from Atalanta on loan, making his move permanent last summer.
Kessie has made 25 appearances this season, switching between defensive and central midfield roles and providing one goal and two assists.
And according to MilanNews24, Arsenal have the Ivorian within their sights as Mikel Arteta constructs a new-look midfield at the Emirates.
It is claimed the Gunners are increasingly tempted to make a summer swoop for Kessie, but will refuse to pay over £18million (€20m) for him.
Milan could be tempted into accepting such an offer with Ralf Rangnick having been keen to land Red Bull Salzburg attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

The highly-rated versatile Hungarian teenager has also been linked to Arsenal having impressed for Salzburg in the Champions League this season.
Kessie, meanwhile, is more of a box-to-box midfielder who can also operate in the No 6 role.
Arteta is known to be keen on Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey but could be looking at the Milan ace as a cheaper alternative.
Ghanaian Partey will set the Londoners back around £43million due to a release clause in his contract, though it has been reported he is reciprocal to Arsenal's interest.
