Senegal celebrates after a nail-biting Africa Cup of Nations final victory over seven-times winners Egypt
Liverpool will be delighted to welcome back Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane after the pair faced off in the Africa Cup of Nations final last weekend, but the latter may not be back at Anfield for long. Liverpool fans were torn on Sunday when Mane and Salah were involved in a tense AFCON final between Egypt and Senegal.
Both players were lined up to take their respective nation's last penalty kick, but Salah didn't have an opportunity as Mane buried his effort to win the tournament for Senegal.
Liverpool fans were quick to spot a warm moment between the two Anfield team-mates as Mane moved to console Salah after the game.
Salah has already returned to Merseyside to prepare for Thursday night's game against Leicester.
Mane is yet to make his way back to the club, meaning he may be unavailable for the match.

Mane is said to be of the mindset that he's already made history at Liverpool and lifting another major trophy in La Liga would seemingly increase his status.
The report adds that there has been no progress in talks between Liverpool and Mane on a new deal.
But Barcelona may not be in a position to buy Mane this coming summer after their January splurge.
Xavi overhauled his frontline last month, signing Ferran Torres, Adama Traore and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And Real have seemingly focused their attention on signing either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.
