have reportedly identified replacement, after the Egyptian came to blows with manager . The Liverpool boss insisted the incident was smoothed over following Saturday’s disappointing draw with West Ham United - a result that all but ends the Reds’ title hopes.

Things look to be turning sour at Liverpool. With just three games of Klopp’s Liverpool tenure left to run, the German boss’ patience with his players appears to be running thin. Salah felt the full wrath of his manager on Saturday afternoon, with the pair enduring a bust-up midway through the second half.

Had things worked out differently, Salah might’ve already left Liverpool behind. The ex-Chelsea man was subject to big-money offers from Saudi Arabia last summer, with clubs from the Middle Eastern outfit believed to have carried that interest over to this summer.

But if even Liverpool were able to keep hold of Salah, given the 31-year-old is in the final 18 months of his contract. Salah’s deal at Anfield is currently due to expire at the end of next season, meaning Liverpool could be forced into sourcing a replacement anyway.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, they might just have found their man. The Italian journalist has reported Liverpool are keen on Crysencio Summerville, with the attacker having impressed for promotion-chasing Leeds United in the Championship.

Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Romano revealed Liverpool have scouted Summerville, with interest dating back to before Michael Edwards returned to the Merseyside club. Summerville - who has 30 goal contributions to his name this season - is being talked about as a potential departure from Elland Road, even if Leeds secure an immediate return to the top-flight.

It comes amid what promises to be a busy summer of incomings - and potentially outgoings - for Liverpool. And pundit Jamie Carragher has admitted questions may need to be asked about some of Liverpool’s biggest names, most notably Salah.

Speaking to Sky Sports last week, the ex-Liverpool ace said: "There is a real discussion for the new manager about what the future holds Mo Salah - it's the first time we've asked that question. He only has a year to go on his contract.

"He's looked a shadow of himself for a lot of this season but especially since he's come back from injury. He is Liverpool's legend, superstar, one of the all-time greats. But he's been so far off it."
