A LAST-MINUTE howler by Brighton goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak gifted Birmingham substitute Nikola Zigic a goal and his team a vital point.

Marlon King’s cross from the left was headed goalwards by Zigic but with no real power – but Kuszczak dropped it over the line. Poyet backed his keeper, saying: “He hadn’t made a mistake all season.”
Steven Caldwell had put the Blues ahead before an Ashley Barnes shot and Spaniard David Lopez’s volley put the Seagulls on course for victory.
Birmingham boss Lee Clark said: “Outfielders can make mistakes and get away with them but keepers can’t. I was pleased we kept going.”
