Loic Remy could be heading to Arsenal before the transfer deadline[GETTY]
Remy looked set to join Chelsea tomorrow after being left out of QPR's squad that beat Sunderland 1-0 at Loftus Road today.
Yet Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been non-committal when quizzed on his interest of the Frenchman, while Wenger has previously insisted he does not want to buy another striker.
Chelsea require a forward after letting £50m flop Fernando Torres move to Milan on a two-year loan, while Arsenal are without Olivier Giroud for four months after the France international broke his leg last weekend.
Loic Remy Player Profile
According to West London Sport, 27-year-old Remy rejected a new contract at QPR on Friday and will undergo a medical at Chelsea tomorrow.
But those plans could change as Arsenal put their hat in the ring, with Wenger likely to descend into a bidding war with Mourinho for Remy's services.
