Kevin Strootman SNUBS Man Utd in favour of Real Madrid or Barcelona move
KEVIN STROOTMAN has dealt Manchester United a massive blow after revealing he really wants to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Kevin Strootman Player Profile
The 24-year-old is believed to be one of Louis van Gaal's top transfer targets as the Dutchman looks to beef up his midfield.
Recent reports had suggested that United had lined up a £32m deal to bring Strootman to Old Trafford in January.
Roma have since denied that a deal has already been agreed, and while Strootman continues to insist that he's happy in Serie A, he has admitted the club's profile improves his chances of getting a dream move.

Everyone wants to play with Real Madrid or Barcelona
"I do not see Roma as an intermediate point in my career," he told Voetbal International.
"Of course, a player who plays well here can showcase themselves sooner.
"Everyone wants to play with Real Madrid or Barcelona, but these big clubs are not scouting in Netherlands."
It now remains to be seen whether either of the Spanish giants show an interest in landing Strootman in what would be a damaging setback for Van Gaal's transfer plans.
