Manchester United could sign PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi for £25.6million
The 29-year-old has been a mainstay in PSG's side and played a crucial part in their title-winning success last season.
But the arrival of manager Unai Emery and the signing of Grzegorz Krychowiak from Sevilla has cast Matuidi's future into doubt.
It is claimed Emery, who replaced Laurent Blanc as manager last month, will look to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, which would likely leave Matiudi without a place in the squad.
And website Get French Football News claim United are looking to capitalise on this uncertainty by moving for the Frenchman.
The report adds Matuidi will hold discussions with PSG after Euro 2016 with France, but, should Emery decide to offload the midfielder, United will be waiting in the wings.
It is said that the Red Devils could secure Matuidi's signature for a fee of around £25.6million (30m euros) including bonuses.
