It is thought the prospective deal will see him double his current £30,000 wages.

The report also suggests club sponsors Adidas are in the process of negotiating a new contract for Lingard, which in turn it is believed, will help the German sports manufacturer with their future marketing strategies.
He has 18 months left to run on his present deal.
